Sonic Ether’s Unbelievable Shaders V11

Sonic Ether’s Unbelievable Shaders V11 is the name of a mod of a mod (original mod created by daxnitro: GLSL Shaders) that makes your Minecraft look simply unbelievably good. If you want to know more about it, please take a gander.

Sonic Ether’s Unbelievable Shaders V11 overhauls nearly everything about the graphics of the game. With this one, water looks clear and fluid, plants look alive and seem to sway back and forth as if they were breathing, and nighttime feels even spookier than ever. Particular aspects about vanilla have connected textures, but those pale compared to Sonic Ether’s Unbelievable Shaders V11. Bodies of water, whether big or small and open, resemble a uniform piece, just like they do with the real bodies of water. On the windy day, tall grass and trees will dance back and forth in the breeze, and Sonic Ether’s Unbelievable Shaders V11 incorporates that sense of animation.

The lighting is quite possibly Sonic Ether’s Unbelievable Shaders V11’s greatest virtue. The stale, bleak light offered in vanilla does not give a sense of atmosphere like they do in this one. In fact, a lot of the light sources in vanilla seem as though they are the same. Yellow light one is the most common one, seen from torches, lava, glowstone, sun, and fire. With it, color is reintroduced and reborn with each and every light source.

Torchlight looks really different from moonlight, just as it should. In order to add to this, shadows are heavily implemented as well. Something even as tiny as grass on the ground is able to cast a vibrant and deep shadow, perfectly matching up to the location of the sun. As for the daylight, it is crisp and bright, striking a noticeable difference from the pale light of the moon or torches while in a cave. If all the lighting features of the game seem the same, Sonic Ether’s Unbelievable Shaders V11 is a vibrant way to shake that up.
