The SFLP Shaders pack is for Minecraft 1.11.2, 1.12.2, 1.13.1, 1.13.2, 1.14.4, and all the other versions of Minecraft. This one was created by Chocapic13 and the main goal of this shader is to make it work better on the old computers. Actually, the name of this one, SFLP, stands for Shaders For Low end PCs.
You do not need anyone an expensive and high end computer in order to enjoy and experience the better quality Minecraft graphics. This one is exclusively optimized for budget computers. For those who are wondering, the minimum requirements for the LITE version of these packs are 1,5GB RAM and at least Dual Core 1GHZ processor.
Each graphic card is supported but they should at least support GSLS 1.2 or OpenGL 2.0. How do you install the SFLP Shaders pack?
For the Minecraft version 1.7.0 and latest versions:
- The first thing that you have to do is to locate and open the Minecraft application folder. If you have Windows OS, start Run from the start menu and type %appdata% and then press on Run. If you have OSX or MAC, you need to open Finder, hold down Alt and click Go. Then, click on the Library that is able to be found on the top menu bar.
- Afterward, open folder Application Support and look for Minecraft. For those who use Linux (most distributions), the Minecraft folder is placed on /home/yourusername/.minecraft ( dot (.) folder is hidden directory on Linux, so you have to press Ctrl+H if you want to unhide the folder).
- Then, download the shaders pack and put all versions you want to the shaderpacks folder, which is located inside of the Minecraft folder.
- In case you do not have this folder, please create this one by yourself. The next thing that you have to do is to install Forge and put Optifine in the mods folder. Actually, you are also able to install Optifine, but some people prefer to have it in mods folders. After that, start Minecraft, choose Minecraft with Forge installed and go to Options > Video Settings > Shaders and choose desired shader.
