You have seen them grazing peacefully in the hills and meadows of Minecraft. Sheeps are known as common animals in the game, and with just a little know how and effort, you are able to time and breed them. Actually, the approach is similar to how to tame a chicken, but you will be using fully grown and harvested wheat instead of just seeds.
In order to take a sheep, the first thing that you have to do is to get wheat which you are able to grow from seeds in the ground. You need to find some empty ground next to water and then use a hoe by right clicking it on the empty ground to cultivate and prepare it. Please equip your seeds and then right click on the ground to plant them. The process is not instant so you have to wait a day or two (Minecraft time) until the what is fully grown and then click on it with your hoe equipped to harvest the wheat. Then, equip, your wheat and approach a sheep. The thing will start to follow you and will continue to follow you as long as you have the wheat equipped. The next thing that you have to do is to guide the sheep into an enclosed space. It is able to be the inside of a building or a special pen that you construct using wooden fences and a gate. Once the sheep is inside the enclosure, you need to close it off with a gate or door and you now have a pet sheep.
When you tame and capture two or more sheep in the game called Minecraft, you are able to breed them to produce baby sheep and shear them to produce wool. Sheep regrow wool very quickly, so you do not need too many to produce a lot of wool. Please follow these following steps if you want to breed sheep in Minecraft. First, tame and enclose at least two sheep suing the steps mentioned above. Second, feed wheat to the sheep. You can do it by right clicking on the wheat in your hotbar while standing in front of each sheep. Third, you will be able to see hearts appear above the sheep. Fourth, a baby sheep will be born soon. Fifth, repeat a few times if you want to create a family of sheep. Sixth, use a pair of shears on each sheep to harvest wool. With a small family of sheep (about 3 or 5), you will have plenty of wool in a very short time.
A sheep refers to a passive mob found commonly in the grassy biomes that supply wool and mutton. The main purpose of it is to supply wool and raw mutton or cooked mutton if killed while on fire. When they face an obstacle, they will often try to jump over it, sometimes even when the obstacle cannot be overcome. When attacked, they run away.
