How to make charcoal in Minecraft? If you want to make charcoal, here are the steps that you are able to follow.

  • First, you have to open the Furnace Menu.
  • If you have opened the furnace menu, now you have to add fuel to the Furnace. You have to add fuel to the bottom fuel box in the furnace. In this tutorial, we will use coal as fuel.
  • After that, you have to place the wooden item in the top box of the furnace. In this tutorial, we will make charcoal from an oak log. You will see the flames cooking the oak log. If the wood is cooked/ burned in the furnace, then the charcoal will appear in the box to the right.
