The saddle is used to be able to ride horses, donkeys, and camels. To craft a saddle, it requires five pieces of leather and two sticks. To start, in the crafting table, you are able to put a piece of leather in each corner. Then, you have to put the fifth piece of leather in the center of the middle column. After that, you are able to put a stick in each of the remaining spaces in the middle column.
However, we get information that in Minecraft, a saddle is an item that you cannot make with a crafting table or furnace. You will need to find and gather this saddle in the game. Usually, you will be able to find a saddle inside a chest in a dungeon or Nether Fortress. Or you are able to catch a saddle while fishing.
HOW TO GET A SADDLE IN SURVIVAL MODE
Apparently, there are some ways to get a saddle in Survival mode.
- FIND A CHEST IN A DUNGEON.
You are able to add a saddle to your inventory in Survival mode by finding a chest in a dungeon. So, let us get started!
Firstly, you have to find a dungeon which is located underground. For your information, Dungeons appear as a small room with a monster spawner in the center and 1 or 2 chests (sometimes a double chest) filled with valuable items. The walls and floor of the dungeon are created of cobblestone and mossy cobblestone. You are able to look for a dungeon by digging underground. Or you are able to switch to Spectator game mode quickly and look for a dungeon by flying down underground. After that, you are able to switch back to Creative or Survival mode once you’ve found the dungeon. When you have found a dungeon, please look inside the dungeon for chests. Each chest is going to contain different items. If you find a chest in the dungeon, you have to open it to see what is inside. If you are lucky, you are going to find a saddle and other valuable items.
- FIND A CHEST IN THE NETHER FORTRESS
In Minecraft, you can also find a saddle by going to the Nether and finding a Nether fortress that has a chest inside. If you have not been to the Nether, you need to build a nether portal to take you to the Nether. When you walk through a nether portal, it is going to transport you between the Overworld and the Nether. After you have found a Nether fortress, please look inside the fortress for a chest. There may be lots of chests hidden within the fortress and each chest is going to contain different items. When you find a chest in the Nether fortress, you have to open it to see what is inside. If you are lucky, you will be able to find a saddle and other valuable items.
